More than 3,700 visitors (a 4% increase from 2018) attended the 17th edition of Luxe Pack New York, May 15th-16th, located this year in a new venue, The Javits Center, on the west side of Manhattan. According to the show’s organizers, the event also experienced record-breaking conference attendance, with sessions including “Sustainable Packaging: The New Conversation,” “The Inspiration Crossover” and “The Future 100: Trends and Changes Ahead.” In general, both exhibitors and attendees seemed very happy with the airy, easy-to-navigate Javits space, and suppliers commented on the high-level of brand decision makers visiting their booths.
Much of the conversation throughout the show focused on the vast and complicated tenets of sustainability—from packaging materials to recycling, to CSR practices and more.
