    Earlier this month, Dolly Parton announced that she will be launching a signature fragrance in Spring 2021. Parton signed a long-term licensing deal with Edge Beauty, which will work with Parton to create, develop and distribute the Dolly Parton fragrance collection.
     
    In international news, Estée Lauder Companies unveiled plans to build its first plant in the Asia-Pacific region. The factory will be located 45 miles Northeast of Tokyo and will boast one of the company’s largest production outputs globally.
     
    Finally, as part of its acceleration strategy in e-commerce, L’Oréal invested in U.S. social selling platform Replika Software Inc. As a turnkey social selling platform, Replika Software enables brands to activate at scale their network of social sellers to sell online, inspire on social media and connect with consumers anytime, anywhere.
