    Jean-Paul Agon, L'Oreal's chief executive officer, was recently featured on an episode of CNBC's "The Conversation" -- and revealed L'Oreal's plans to keep its advantage of being "the most digitally advanced company in the beauty industry," CNBC states. 

    Agon said, "We really believe at L'Oreal in science and technology...I think the future of beauty will be more and more about technology, about quality, about formulation, about individualization, about digitalization, about responding to specific needs."

    The conversation mentions a few of L'Oreal's technologically advanced, breakthrough products -- Lancôme's Le Teint Particulier custom foundation; Kérastase Hair Coach, the world's "first" smart hairbrush; and Makeup Genius, a virtual makeup tester app. 

    Last January, L'Oreal announced its plans to help accelerate these 5 tech start-ups.
