    Enables packaging experts, brands, designers and suppliers in the sector to 'get together' via the computer in March.

    Easyfairs Announces New Three-Day Digital Event
    Each Digital Day will offer a number of key elements and will be free of charge the whole packaging community.

    Easyfairs, organizer of ADF&PCD and PLD Paris, the event for premium fragrance, cosmetics and beverage packaging, aerosol and distribution technologies, has announced a new event to bring a vision of the future of packaging—Digital Days.
     
    This digital event organized over three days will enable packaging experts, brands, designers, and suppliers in the sector to "get together" via the computer in March this year.
     
    The three days will combine speakers from leading beauty, premium drinks and aerosol brand owners with insight into the latest innovation strategies, as well as the newest products that are defining the future of packaging in the three sectors.
     
    Each day will feature a mix of keynote talks and panel discussions from key decision-makers – many at the top brands in beauty, drinks and FMCG as well as industry analysts and design leaders.
     
    Each Digital Day will focus on innovations in a particular sector:
     
    • Tuesday 23 March – PCD Digital Day – focusing on the perfume and cosmetics market
    • Thursday 25 March – PLD Digital Day – focusing on wine, spirits and other premium drinks
    • Tuesday 30 March – ADF Digital Day – focusing on aerosol and dispensing systems across the markets.
     
    The Digital Days will be hosted on an online events platform that offers a wide range of options to network with other attendees, connect with suppliers and discover their latest products and innovations, and learn from leading experts in interactive conference sessions.
     
    Each Digital Day will offer a number of key elements and will be free of charge the whole packaging community.
     
    Agenda-Setting Talks
     
    Each day will feature a mix of keynote talks and panel discussions from key decision-makers – many at the top brands in beauty, drinks and FMCG as well as industry analysts and design leaders. The talks will cover key topics in packaging development and design, from sustainability pressures and the digital shift to changing consumer and regulatory demands, and of course the challenges for packaging innovation in the post-Covid world.
     
    Innovations Awards Finalists
     
    On each day, the finalists of this year’s Innovation Awards will be announced by members of the Awards juries, who represent the most influential groups of packaging developers and designers in the markets they represent. Winners of the awards will then be announced in June at the live edition of ADF&PCD and PLD Paris, 22&23 June. Juries for the Awards feature international packaging development directors from brand owners including L’Oréal, Coty, Chanel, Interparfums, Pierre Fabre, Puig, Pernod Ricard, Coca Cola, Unilever, Beiersdorf, LVMH and many more.
     
    Innovation Labs
     
    These interactive sessions, hosted by the market’s leading packaging suppliers, will give visitors an unrivalled insight into the latest trends and opportunities in specific packaging technologies and materials.
     
    Supplier Showcase
     
    The Supplier Showcase pages will allow the audience to discover the latest products and innovations from a selected group of leading suppliers to the audience and will facilitate connections and meetings between suppliers and visitors.
     
    ADF&PCD and PLD Paris is working with its Italian counterpart Packaging Premiere as well as the Pentawards, the world’s leading packaging design competition, to develop and promote the Digital Days, bringing a strengthened international reach to these three days.
     
    ADF&PCD and PLD Paris event director Josh Brooks said, “Our mission at ADF&PCD and PLD is to drive innovation, bring inspiration and connect the key influencers in the packaging development process. We are very excited to bring this mission to the digital space and to remain the first major event of the year to give our community a vision of their future.”
