Multi-platinum recording artist Ariana Grande is topping the charts with her fragrance franchise, created in partnership with Luxe Brands. In just two short years, the pop star's fragrance retail sales have exceeded $150 million, globally.
Grande's top-selling scents include Moonlight, Sweet Like Candy, and her signature fragrance, Ari by Ariana Grande, shown above.
Scooter Braun, Grande's manager and founder of SB Projects says, "The undisputed success of Ariana's fragrance portfolio is a testament to her authentic connection with her fans and to her evolution from artist to megastar and role model." Grande certainly has "star power" and a connection with her fans. She has 115 million+ followers (and growing) on Instagram and 2 billion+ views on YouTube.
The fragrance's success is also attributed, in part, to its packaging. The press release states that the fragrances feature "360-degree marketing campaigns, iconic packaging design and innovative digital activations, all of which speak directly to Grande's fan base."
The fragrances are all in the same faceted bottles, decorated in different ways -- and each features a bulb atomizer covered with a pastel-colored ball of "fluff."
