The Body Shop has appointed New York-based British makeup artist Lisa Houghton as its Global Makeup Artist.
Houghton will work with The Body Shop on product development, trends, creating seasonal looks – tutorial videos and digital content creations. She commented, “I want to bring the existing exceptional, extensive & versatile makeup range to the attention of a far wider audience who really care about the quality of their makeup & show the beautiful looks that can be achieved with this range."
Houghton has established herself as a leading makeup artist in the past decade, gaining recognition for her effortless approach to beauty and her cutting-edge editorials. Her work has appeared in American, Italian, French, British, German, Chinese, and Japanese Vogue, W Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar, among others.
She has also collaborated with designers in London, Paris, and New York, more recently Tadashi Shoji, Peter Pilotto, Cushnie Et Ochs, Theory and Derek Lam.
