Luxe Pack LA and MakeUp in LosAngeles expect to welcome over 4,500 visitors on February 16-17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Beauty industry executives attending the co-located shows will find networking events, a full speaker lineup, awards presentations—and more. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with over 200 exhibitors.
Luxe Pack Los Angeles focuses on luxury packaging, while MakeUp in LosAngeles will feature the latest skincare and makeup innovations.
Not-To-Miss Conferences
The show will feature two full days of insightful education sessions.- On February 17 at noon, Akemi Ooka, head of global supply chain resources at the Independent Beauty Association (IBA), will moderate “Sustainability Beyond the Bottle.” The conference brings together Tim Bohlke, director of sustainability at the Resource Label Group; Victor Casale, co-founder of Pact Collective; and Blake Chapa, packaging lead, operations, at Coola, for an insightful discussion.
- On February 17 at 1 pm, Danessa Myricks, founder of her namesake beauty brand, will speak to Leila Rochet of Cosmetics Inspiration & Creation about how she “disrupted beauty” and her brand’s social media success.
- Also, on February 17, at 2 pm, the “Best Practices for Developing Packaging in a Fast-Moving Environment” session aims to explain the 4-stage process for package development—Concept, Feasibility, Development, and Execution. The speakers are Olaplex’s John Morgan, Summer Fridays’ Jessica Abrams, and APC Packaging’s Robert Bulla.
Celebrating the MakeUp in IT Awards
This year’s MakeUp in IT Awards received more than 120 submissions from exhibitors, setting a new record. A judging panel reviewed each and selected the finalists.Head for the awards display at the show, and attend the awards ceremony on February 16 to celebrate the winners.

On February 16 at 11 am, WAP Sustainability’s sustainability analysts, Rose Maylen and Lydia Schreiber will speak about sustainable business practices during the conference, “The Power of Life Cycle Assessment & Carbon Accounting for Measuring Impact and Responding to Key Stakeholder Requests.”WAP’s team will also be available throughout the show for one-on-one chats during the “Carbon Clinic.” Discuss using sustainability motivators to form an action plan to maximize impact and meet stakeholder requests.
