The Estée Lauder Companies has announced two leadership updates intended to strengthen ELC’s business strategy and ability to “run and transform” with an eye to the future.
Andrew Ross will lead Strategy, New Business Development and Integration, as executive vice president. He will report jointly to Fabrizio Freda, president and chief executive officer, and Tracey T. Travis, executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will remain a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Since joining the company in 2016, Ross has played a role in developing its 10-Year Strategic Compass and a global growth strategy that helps to drive long-term sustainable performance.
Daniel Mahler has assumed a new role as senior vice president, global transformation and category leadership. Mahler will report jointly to Freda and Travis. He will also become a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Mahler will partner with Ross to align transformational priorities to ELC’s corporate strategy and help shape its leadership with new business models, e-commerce and consumer engagement. Mahler joined the company as co-chair, global transformation committee in 2018. He will also oversee category leadership at ELC.
