Rexam’s Closure for Kenzo Utilizes Tampo Printing
The latest version of FlowerbyKenzo is capped by a flawless rendition of Kenzo’s hallmark flower image, captured by Rexam via the latest in tampo printing technology. According to Elisabeth Benoît, cosmetic closures sales director, Rexam Personal Care, Rexam delivered an image resolution of 200dpi, 25% finer than the standard tampo printing process “for optimal realism and shelf appeal.” Benoît says Surlyn was chosen as the material of choice due to its transparency and fragrance compatibility properties. The fragrance’s limited production run made tampo printing both the aesthetically superior and most cost-efficient technology.
