Unilever-owned, hair health and hair growth supplement brand, Nutrafol has expanded into skincare with its Nutrafol Skin category. Nutrafol Skin products are daily supplements for women 18 and older who experience mild to moderate acne.
According to Nutrafol, acne is one of the most common skin concerns in the U.S. Nutrafol Skin was designed to address key root causes of non-cystic acne in adult women.
Physician-formulated products were developed to target stress, hormonal fluctuations, immune system functions and the microbiome within the skin and gut.
Nutrafol Skin formulas are 100% drug-free and clinically tested to improve post-acne dark spots and reduce mild to moderate acne.
Nutrafol Co-Founder and CEO, Giorgos Tsetis, commented. "We've made a tremendous impact on so many lives, but we also know that women are plagued by another confidence killer, acne. So for the past 2.5 years, we have brought all of the scientific resources and research available to us at Nutrafol to develop our whole-body approach for women struggling with their skin. We know skin and hair concerns mirror our inner health, and our mission is to extend our impact to as many individuals as possible."
After launching in 2016, Nutrafol has set a new industry standard for clinically tested drug-free hair care supplements. According to Nutrafol, entering into skincare marks a strategic milestone in expanding the company’s whole-body approach to hair and skin health.
Unilever recently acquired Nutrafol in 2022, as part of its health and wellbeing unit. The brand also recently launched at Sephora, with its first-ever Women's Vegan Hair Growth Nutraceutical.
