Pacifica, which was our Beauty Company of the Year last year, is launching a new fragrance collection today—with "functional" scents. Each serves a purpose—whether it's calming, mood-boosting, or grounding—and the formulations are backed by neuroscience, the brand says.
The collection includes:
- Montana Sky: A grounding scent that's airy and unisex. The crisp centering blend includes cedarwood, elderflower, earthy sage, and pepper.
- Beach Day: Inspires feelings of bliss with a blend of salt, sandalwood, orange flower, and smoke notes—to call in "the bliss of being by the ocean."
- Island Vanilla: Inspires euphoria with a mood-lifting blend of sugar, vanilla, and jasmine with vetiver and white cacao.
- Passion Fruit: Inspires joy with an energetic blend of juicy passion fruit, bright pineapple, and sweet vanilla.
- Indian Coconut Nectar: Blends creamy coconut, vanilla, sugar crystals, and resinous amber to inspire calmness and help ground the mind.
- Silver Moon: Aims to inspire wearers with a unisex earthy blend of creamy vanilla, warm tonka, almond, woody santal, and cardamom.
- Dream Moon: Evokes feelings of love and gratitude with sandalwood, patchouli, and vibrating pink rose.
Developing the new fragrance collection was "27 years in the making," the brand says—and each scent has an "AromaPower," a term coined by the brand.
"AromaPower is the power of scent to transcend time and space, bringing us back to memories and places while inspiring us forward," the brand states. "These invisible, powerful mood-lifters will positively impact your mind and mood."
