Victoria Beckham Beauty has tapped former Birchbox cofounder and CEO, Katia Beauchamp, as its CEO. Victoria Beckham serves as her namesake brand's cofounder and creative director.
Victoria Beckham Beauty's previous CEO, Sarah Creal, left the brand earlier this year.
Nance Hastings also joins Victoria Beckham Beauty as president from Alpyn Beauty, where she held the same title. Prior to that, she spent more than 25 years at the Estée Lauder Companies.
“Katia and Nance’s expertise, vision and experience are, without doubt, going to be invaluable in helping me grow, shape and continue on this exciting journey,” Beckham said in a statement.
Beauchamp Built Birchbox 'From Scratch'
Beauchamp commented that she has “admired the brand aesthetic, performance and mission, as well as its impressive growth trajectory. Consumers see the integrity in the products, and they voice their enthusiasm,” according to reports.Beauchamp built Birchbox from scratch—and it became a multimillion-dollar beauty sample subscription company racking up over 1 million subscribers in 2019, CNBC reported.
Birchbox relaunched last year with its new owner, Femtec Health.
