Good news for beauty addicts—Sephora just launched a same-day delivery service. The convenient same-day delivery option is now available nationwide, in most major cities and suburbs.
The checkout experience is seamless—consumers shopping on Sephora's website or the retailer's mobile app needs to enter a zip code, and then choose a delivery option. A flat fee of $6.95 covers fees. Orders placed before 4 p.m. local time are eligible for the same-day service.
A courier will retrieve the order from a nearby Sephora store, to deliver it directly to the consumer's door, sometimes as quickly as one hour. Shoppers also have the option to enable notifications on Sephora's mobile app to receive updates on the status of their orders.
The retailer states that in a recent survey of its clients, nearly half of Sephora shoppers polled placed same-day delivery in their top three delivery methods.
Sephora's Beauty on Demand hub offers additional options, including curbside pick-up, in-store pick-up, and free delivery.
Back in September 2020, Sephora announced a partnership with Instacart. Shoppers on that platform could add a lipstick, for example, to a same-day grocery delivery, depending on their location. Sephora is also continuing this partnership.
