    Kopari Beauty
    , the digitally-native, clean, coconut-based lifestyle brand, has appointed Susan J. Kim as its new chief executive officer.
     
    Kim possesses more than 10 years of experience working for global beauty brands including Huda Beauty, Benefit Cosmetics and L’Oreal USA. Her expertise lies in growing direct-to-consumer brands, while managing brands’ omni-channel approach to fuel organic growth, which fits seamlessly into the brand’s vision for the next phase of Kopari.
     
    “Susan is a seasoned beauty professional and one of the most innovative leaders I have met,” said Bryce Goldman, co-founder and former CEO of Kopari. “Welcoming her to the Kopari team marks the next benchmark of the brand’s evolution. She never ceases to push brands in achieving their growth goals and is effectively able to lead a team to match that energy and ambition that drives marked success in a highly competitive, constantly evolving market. Over the past five years, we have taken Kopari from its digitally-native roots and transformed it into a thriving, global beauty brand. For our next chapter, I am thrilled to pass the baton to Susan who will assuredly take Kopari where the brand has never gone before.”
     
    With a passion for marketing digitally-native brands, Kim most recently served as the senior vice president of marketing & digital at Huda Beauty. Prior to that time, she spent nine years at Benefit Cosmetics developing a digital and strategic plan that catapulted the brand to an industry top rank.
     
    “I have been impressed by Kopari for years, specifically by the brand’s digital leadership and rich DNA centered around coconut,” Kim said. “It is such a joy to join this team of passionate creators. Together, we will continue to grow the brand and solidify our position as a category leader in the natural and clean beauty space.”
