Beauty Together, a 10-day global livestream fundraising and educational event, will take place June 16 - 26. Funds raised will help support artists affected by Covid-19, and a percentage will be donated to organizations supporting racial justice.
The global fundraiser kicks off on Friday June 12 with a free Artist Town Hall livestream discussion at 12 noon PT / 3 pm ET.
During the Town Hall, Bobbi Brown, Sir John, Sam Fine, Danessa Myricks, Patrick Ta, Karen Chambers, (EVP, Iman Cosmetics) and Support Creatives' co-founder Michael Dueñas will discuss inclusivity in the beauty industry -- and steps we can all take towards positive change. Register here, and submit questions.
Beginning on June 16, a total of 50 celebrity hairstylists, makeup artists, and brands will participate in Beauty Together, including those in the Town Hall. Others are Scotty Cunha, Katie Jane Hughes, César DeLeön Ramîrez, Sarah Potempa, Tabatha Coffey - and more.
Highlights: A Q&A with Bobbi Brown & More Details
During the Beauty Together event next week, Bobbi Brown will host a 1-hour Q&A, "Real Talk," and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. Sir John will host the masterclass,' "Skin, Sculpt, & Eyes." See the full schedule here.
The program aims to provide educational opportunities for industry professionals and beauty fans around the world. The event is open to the public, but the global livestream is limited to 5k viewers. Classes start at a $10 donation, and they will also be available on-demand.
Beauty Together was founded by Support Creatives (see its team here), which was inspired during the Covid-19 pandemic to "fill a gap in the world of charities" and form a way to provide artists in the freelance beauty industry with a support system. Support Creatives is a non-profit project of GVNG.org, and all donations are tax-deductible.
