Anisa International, founded by Anisa Telwar Kaicker, has made Entrepreneur magazine's 2017 Entrepreneur 360 list.
Each year, the magazine chooses 360 independently-owned companies that are led by founders who are excelling at being an entrepreneur. The magazine states, "Anyone can start a business, but not everyone can make it a success. Leaders need to balance a company to push past obstacles, overcome challenges and achieve milestones. They excel in expertly balancing impact, innovation, growth and leadership by way of grit, perseverance and passion."
Lisa Murray, Chief Insights Officer of Entrepreneur Media, Inc., explains, "The entrepreneurs that make the list each year have all implemented visionary initiatives impacting their communities for the better, innovative ideas redefining industry standards, leadership practices fostering enviable company cultures, and creative growth strategies launching their brands to new heights."
Honorees were identified based on the results from a comprehensive study of independently-owned companies, using a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics. The algorithm was built on a balanced scorecard designed to measure four metrics reflecting major pillars of entrepreneurship—innovation, growth, leadership and impact.
Anisa International is spreading the exciting news on social media, posting this on its Instagram page: "Thank you, @Entrepreneur! We are thrilled and humbled to see our name on your list. No. 117 looks great to us!"
The company recently celebrated 14 years of brush-making excellence at its manufacturing facility in Tianjin, China.
