As a tie-in with Veteran’s Day this year, L’Oreal held an event on November 13th - “Have a Beautiful Day” at its Redken Exchange on Fifth Ave. in New York City.
The event was created to promote veterans in the workforce, and honored
Twenty-five hair and makeup pros from L’Oreal USA’s volunteered to give
military teens and their moms makeovers.
More than 60 L’Oreal employees waved American flags, welcoming the families at the entrance to the salon.
Antoinette Hamilton, AVP of Diversity & Inclusion at L'Oreal USA, commented:
"L'Oreal USA is committed to supporting and making employment opportunities available to military veterans wherever possible. We recognize the workplace challenges military families face and were proud to host a day of career planning and beauty education to ease the transition to civilian life.”
The program also supports the USO’s Every Moment Counts campaign.
