Marie-Pierre Stark-Flora has been appointed senior vice president, global marketing, for the Estée Lauder brand. Stark-Flora will report to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, global brand president for Estée Lauder.
Stark-Flora was the founder and most recently the chief marketing officer of Iluminage, a cutting edge skincare device company created through a joint venture between Unilever and Syneron Medical.
Among her many previous executive positions, she served as vice president of global marketing development for Kiehl’s Since 1851, where she re-conceptualized Kiehl’s product portfolio and launched more than 80 new products for the brand. During her tenure, Kiehl’s won five CEW Awards for new product introductions, and two of the products she developed were accepted in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC.
At Estée Lauder, Stark-Flora will be responsible for leading the brand’s global marketing strategy encompassing four categories of business—luxury skincare, skincare, makeup and fragrance—as well as consumer engagement strategy including digital marketing, media planning and CRM.
