On May 8, 2014, the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC), an association of professionals from all disciplines of the packaging field, named five inductees to its prestigious Hall of Fame.
John Downey, The Estée Lauder Companies, was one of the five to achieve this honor.
The others are: Bernard Quennessen, Coty; ; Doug Silady, Boom; Joe Cicci, Color Optics by Arcade; and Jack Raymus (posthumous).

The NJPEC Packaging Hall of Fame was established in 2003 to recognize the achievements of peers in the industry. Each Hall of Fame inductee has made major contributions to the packaging industry during his/her career and advanced the packaging profession with their expertise.
