Founder of Huda Beauty, Huda Kattan has reclaimed her role as CEO and announced “pivotal changes” are in place for her beauty company. Huda Beauty plans to rebrand under a new logo, packaging and brand identity by the end of the year.
Kattan announced on Instagram that she plans on taking a holistic approach to her company. With the rise of influencer brands, she decided Huda Beauty needed to adapt to consumer demands.
In 2020 Kattan stepped down as CEO, and Nathalie Kristo led the company. Kristo worked with Huda Beauty since 2018. Kattan and her husband were appointed co-CEOs in 2021.
In Kattan’s video, she expresses her joy at being back in the CEO position and expresses her regret of stepping down in 2020. However, she now plans to redirect the company’s product offerings.
After three years, the brand’s Glowish makeup and skincare hybrid line will discontinue. Last year Kattan began leading product development, which she has not done since 2019.
Huda Beauty has already launched a new Creamy Obsession Eyeshadow Palette with more products expected to release later this year.
