    Estée Lauder Expands Partnership with Kode With Klossy

    Estée Lauder has partnered with global spokesmodel and brand ambassador, Karlie Kloss, to strengthen the brand’s support of her non-profit, Kode With Klossy. This summer, Estée Lauder and Kode With Klossy developed a multi-faceted program to educate, inspire and mentor summer camp scholars as they support the brand in the launch of a new lip collection, featuring Kloss as the face.
     
    “We are so excited to expand our partnership with Estée Lauder, and continue building upon our shared mission of inspiring young women to discover their passions in STEAM,” said Kloss. “Together, we are showing our Kode With Klossy scholars the many creative ways science and tech intersect with the world around us, as well as connecting them with inspiring women in the industry, past and present, from the legacy of Mrs. Estée Lauder—an incredible female entrepreneur—to the female tech leaders at The Estée Lauder Companies today.”
     
    The program includes four key elements:
     
    • First, Estée Lauder and Kode With Klossy created a customized Estée Lauder lab that was integrated into the summer camp curriculum across all 23 web development camps. The lab offers scholars the opportunity to work with the website development code for the new Pure Color Envy Rebellious Rose Collection, which will launch two new lip formulas in the brand’s #1 lipstick shade worldwide, Rebellious Rose. The new campaign, launching September 14th, is inspired by rule-breaking women, like Kloss and Estée Lauder, who believed women can be both feminine and strong. This belief is reinforced by Kloss and her Kode With Klossy mission to inspire young women to pursue their passions in STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts and Math). As part of the Estée Lauder lab, scholars were taught how to create surprise digital animations that will appear on both the desktop and mobile versions of Esteelauder.com for the launch of Rebellious Rose, allowing scholars to refine their coding skills in connection with a digital marketing campaign launch for Estée Lauder.
     
    • Second, fostering the long-standing spirit of education within the brand, Estée Lauder selected two Kode With Klossy alumni to intern with female tech leaders from The Estée Lauder Companies’ Online/eCommerce engineering and product teams in New York City for four weeks.
     
    • Third, the brand hosted two panel discussions for scholars in the New York City summer camps, providing access to female tech leaders from across The Estée Lauder Companies. The two interns joined The Estée Lauder Companies speakers, providing their unique perspective as former Kode With Klossy scholars now interning at a global beauty company.
     
    • Finally, Kloss and her production company, Klossy Productions, created a hero video with Kode With Klossy scholars, sharing how they worked to develop the Estée Lauder Rebellious Rose campaign site and implement the surprise digital animations. The video will live on Kloss and Estée Lauder’s social channels for the launch of the Pure Color Envy Rebellious Rose Collection in September.
     
    The Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Rebellious Rose Collection will launch at Estée Lauder counters and esteelauder.com beginning September 14th, 2019.
