Sumeo Invents the 'Bubble Shower'—& Turns Skincare Into Bubbles with its bubble maker bath device.

Sumeo has invented Skincare Bubbles with its new Bubble Maker Device for the shower and bath. Turn it on, and bubbles that contain skincare ingredients will float all around you. A Kickstarter campaign raised over $15k in just 24 hours. Now, the Sumeo Bubble Serum + Bubble Maker system are hitting the market.

Sumeo, a New York based company, says “bubbles are the new body care”—and aims to turn a daily cleansing routine into a more immersive and sensorial experience. The floating skincare bubbles are like a new, magical “delivery system” for Sumeo’s serum.

How it Works

Add the Bubble Serum to the Bubble Maker to create hundreds of skincare bubbles. The skincare-grade floating bubbles contain a triple amino acid complex and Pro-Vitamin B5. The soap-free, sulfate-free formula is like a gentle face cleanser for your entire body.

Do the bubbles really “land” on your skin? Yes, but Sumeo says the skincare bubbles are not meant to replace any of your shower or bath products—they’re designed to reinvent the shower experience.

The Bubble Serum comes in a 50 ml dropper bottle. Each bottle makes up to 40 fl oz of bubble solution after diluting with water, which is enough for about 21 bubble showers.

You can also turn the Bubble Maker into a scent diffuser by adding one of Sumeo’s Scent Pods. Rainy Forest is its first Scent Pop, which smells like vanilla, cotton, warm woods, creamy coconut, and fruit.

Will Bubble Therapy be the next big beauty trend? We can’t wait to find out. In the meantime, see @sumeolab on IG — and follow @beautypackaging while you’re there.
