Pretium Packaging, a manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, released its inaugural sustainability report, detailing its progress across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Pretium also reinforces its commitment to helping brands navigate the growing complexity of sustainable packaging.

James Rooney, CEO of Pretium Packaging, said:

“Sustainability is fundamental to how we operate, grow, and create value for our customers. This report reflects the tremendous progress we have made to align performance, innovation, and responsibility across our business.”

The report highlighted Pretium’s progress in advancing sustainable packaging solutions, including increased use of post-consumer resins (PCR) and product innovations designed to reduce material usage while maintaining performance.

The report also summarizes Pretium’s double materiality assessment, which helps to better identify and prioritize sustainability risks and opportunities across its value chain.

Lisa Huett, director of Sustainability and ESG at Pretium Packaging, commented:

“As sustainability requirements evolve, our customers are being asked to balance performance, compliance and cost while moving faster than ever. Our role is to bring clarity to that process and help customers evaluate options, reduce risk and move forward with solutions that are both practical and scalable.”

Pretium also outlines an 18% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a 21% reduction in waste generation in 2025 compared with the previous year. Plus, 32% of its electricity consumption came from carbon-free and renewable energy sources.
