MAC Cosmetics named Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Chappell Roan as the new face of Viva Glam. MAC is also introducing a special-edition lip collection co-created with the Midwest Princess herself.

Featuring three show-stopping shades made for “the girls, the gays, and the theys,” Chappell’s new lip products will give back 100% of the selling price to Viva Glam charities advancing sexual, gender, racial, and environmental equality.

Nicola Formichetti, MAC Global Creative Director, said,

“Chappell embodies everything MAC stands for. She is fearless, expressive, and completely in her own lane. She knows exactly who she is and how she wants to show up. Viva Glam is about turning that kind of self-expression into real impact, and she does that in a way that feels direct and undeniable. She is the perfect artist to lead this next chapter.”

Limited Chappell Lip Collection

The special-edition Viva Glam collection channels Chappell’s signature style into three limited-edition lip products.

Each product is encased in a collectible tube featuring a custom sword-and-heart crest design worthy of her fans.

Macximal Silky Matte Viva Glam Lipstick in Unnatural Red Head. This is a deep cherry red inspired by Chappell’s signature fiery hair that delivers bold, full-coverage color with 12-hour wear and a smooth, moisture-rich finish.

Viva Glam Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick in Roan of Arc. A mid-toned plum lipstick meets-balm hybrid that glides on sheer for glossy, buildable color with a lightweight, comfortable feel.

Viva Glam Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss in Damnsel. This is a sheer red-plum gloss with gold shimmer that delivers glass-like shine with a lightweight, non-sticky feel.

As the face of Viva Glam, Chappell stars in a bold creative campaign centred around a beauty revolution shot by the famed photography duo, Inez and Vinoodh.

Chappell Roan represents a new era for Viva Glam, which sparked a beauty revolution when it launched in 1994. Since then, it has raised over $545 million for charities advancing equal rights and healthy futures for all, making it the largest philanthropic initiative in beauty.

In honor of the collaboration, MAC Viva Glam will make a $300,000 donation to Chappell’s nonprofit foundation, the Midwest Princess Project, and its partner organizations.

The nonprofit provides critical resources, care, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ communities, including the Ali Forney Center in New York City, TransLatin Coalition in Los Angeles, the GLO Center in Springfield, Missouri, and the Campaign for Southern Equality in Asheville, North Carolina.
