Capsum, a leading CDMO in advanced skincare, makeup, and haircare formulation and manufacturing, has acquired KKT Labs.

Also, KKT Labs founder Krupa Koestline has been appointed as CEO of Capsum Inc., USA.

This partnership celebrates a best-in-class formulator and a best-in-class manufacturer coming together as one entity.

Capsum is now a fully integrated B Corp-certified innovation pipeline, from concept and formulation to industrial scale and global deployment.

Kosetline commented,

“What struck me about Capsum’s Austin facility wasn’t just how advanced it is, but also how aligned it felt with everything I believe manufacturing in the U.S. should be. Sustainability, for me, has never been a checkbox. It’s something I believe should be embedded into every part of the process, from formulation all the way through production… Quite honestly, I haven’t seen another facility in the U.S. that brings this level of sustainability and technical excellence together. That’s what made this such a clear and exciting step for KKT.”

This partnership responds to a clear shift in beauty toward deep-tech innovation, clinically supported claims, and supply chain transparency.

Brands are increasingly looking for partners who can develop differentiated products and support them through scale with consistency and credibility. This partnership is designed to meet that need and redefine how beauty products are developed, produced, and brought to market.

Clients of both organizations, legacy brands as well as indies, will benefit from expanded capabilities, accelerated development timelines and broader global opportunities, as well as a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, agility and customer service.
