Color drenching commits to one tonal family across eyes, lips and cheeks for a look that feels maximalist in theory but is surprisingly easy to pull off. The key is cohesion; ensure you stay within the same palette, and the result reads as intentional rather than a little chaotic.

Cloud skin encompasses glass skin, porcelain skin, and satin skin trends. Cloud skin is a beautifully diffused base, lightweight, luminous, and soft-focus, that makes skin look like skin, only visibly better. 

The approach is deliberately gentle. Serum-led prep, a tinted balm or light-coverage base, and a brushed-in powder that diffuses rather than mattifies. The goal is not thick coverage, but soft radiance.

Skin-minimalism is the course correction the industry has been quietly building towards, a shift away from endless product layering and towards a tightly edited selection of genuinely effective formulas.

It is not about cutting corners; it is about cutting clutter from your routine and your bathroom cupboard.

Summer 2026 is the season SPF fully crosses over into skincare. Tinted formulas that double as light-coverage bases, serum-SPF hybrids loaded with active ingredients, reapplication mists designed to layer over makeup.

There is a growing demand for non-invasive, treatment-level results at home. Gua sha tools, cooling serums, and massage-led rituals are having a significant moment, tapping into the same desire for natural lift and a sculpted, de-puffed complexion that replicates in-clinic treatments.

As temperatures rise, a new generation of cooling skincare is stepping well beyond novelty and into genuinely functional territory. Catechins from green tea are the standout ingredient of the moment, calming irritation and redness while protecting against UV-induced oxidative stress. The trend is also moving into lip care, with menthol derivatives now bringing cooling technology into that space too.

As understanding of long-term sun damage has grown, so has demand for a smarter approach: combining high-SPF protection with self-tan to achieve a controlled, sun-kissed glow without compromising skin health.

The latest generation of bond builders has had a significant upgrade, with new formulations cutting treatment time while delivering results that genuinely rival their predecessors.
