has been named CMO Leader
for the L’Oréal Group
, effective immediately. Speichert will continue to report to Frédéric Rozé, President & CEO, L’Oréal Americas and directly manage the CMO’s Americas organization based in New York.
Speichert joined L’Oréal USA in 2010 in the newly-created role of Chief Marketing Officer. Since then, under his CMO leadership the USA businesses have led the way in capturing consumer intelligence and new business opportunities, taking advantage of new digital technologies. A Chief Marketing Officer organization has now been duplicated in the Group’s most strategic markets.
In this new international role, Speichert will accelerate the US success model globally. Speichert will assume global leadership of the CMOs in various countries, working with each of L’Oréal’s geographic Zones. He will define their CMO priorities and roadmaps, their organization guidelines, and functionally lead the growing CMO teams across the world.
Additionally, Speichert will take on the responsibility of animating the now established CMO Board of the L’Oréal Group. In this role he will secure the company’s talent investment plans regarding all CMO functions which include: media and new media, consumer insights and consumer affairs, business analytics, CRM and e-business. Speichert will also work in close collaboration with L’Oréal’s digital acceleration teams.
Prior to L’Oréal, Speichert worked for Colgate-Palmolive where he held various marketing positions.
