Inter Parfums, Inc. has gained a new long-term partner - Agent Provocateur.

The luxury lingerie brand, which is based in London, has granted Interparfums an exclusive worldwide license to create, produce and distribute perfumes and related products for 10.5 years.

The agreement commences on August 1, 2013 and runs through December 31, 2023. Financo LLC acted as the financial advisor to Inter Parfums USA in connection with this transaction.

In addition, Inter Parfums will take over distribution of selected fragrances within the brand’s perfume portfolio and plans to revitalize the Agent Provocateur signature scent.

We can expect to see the first launch after the deal in 2014 - and it will be a "revitalization of Agent Provacateur's signature scent, in its iconic package" according to Interparfums. All of Agent Provacateur's fragrances are housed in the same egg-shaped bottle, and each are decorated differently.

Agent Provacateur currently markets the following fragrances, some in both parfums and eau de toilette versions: Agent Provacateur, Maitresse, L'Agent, and Eau Emotionelle - as well as the Nordstrom exclusive and most recently launched, Petale Noir, which is shown.

Agent Provocateur was founded in 1994 by Joseph Corré and Serena Rees, and acquired by the private equity firm 3i Group in 2007.
