Former Arden VP Launches Skincare

Tilth Beauty by Vargas Cosmetic, Inc., is a new anti-aging skincare line created by Anthony Vargas, former vice president of research and development at Elizabeth Arden. Vargas had worked at Elizabeth Arden for the past 20 years, and was instrumental in developing the Prevage and Ceramide lines. Prior, he worked in skincare R&D at Avon Products for nine years.

Tilth Beauty is a skincare line that Vargas describes as "naturally based, environmentally friendly, and high performance." The products are formulated using the latest advances in skincare technologies, plus natural ingredients -- without any parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petroleum-based products, silicones, or synthetic fragrances. The products also don't contain any GMOs, animal/dairy derived products, or artificial coloring. Plus, the products are gluten-free, cruelty-free and have "green" packaging.

The Tilth Beauty line consists of 14 products, including cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums and eye treatments, ranging in price from $32 - $62. Tilth Beauty is being sold online now, and will launch in salons and at retail outlets in 2013.
