Under a new charitable partnership with Best Buddies International, Beauty company My will donate 50% of the proceeds from all purchases made at now through September 8, 2012. My also is a sponsor of the September 8, 2012 Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle and a member of “Team Maria,” a team of cyclists and runners at the Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle, led by the event’s honorary chairwoman Maria Shriver. Best Buddies is an international non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The funds the company donates will help support Best Buddies’ programs for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies’ programs positively impact nearly 700,000 people with and without disabilities worldwide.

“I am grateful that My is in a position to support Best Buddies. My late sister had cerebral palsy, and I know she would have benefited immensely from Best Buddies’ tremendous work for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” said My’s founder and CEO, Tessa Yutadco. “Through this partnership, My also is joining an important movement to expand the definition of beauty and promote a society in which people are more accepting of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
