Philippe Lahmani to Present 'Cosmeto-textiles' at HBA

The world of cosmetic products is constantly evolving as new technology provides opportunities for innovative, effective products to capture the consumer imagination. At the upcoming HBA Expo 2010, Philippe Lahmani, Founder/CEO of CCV Inc. and U.S. Distributor for Lytess, will present “Cosmeto-Textiles: A New Approach in Cosmetics” as part of the “New Product Development Paradigms” educational program series. The lecture will be moderated by Neelam Muizzuddin, director of clinical research, The Estee Lauder Companies, and is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 3:05pm, #1E-16.

During his lecture, Lahmani will discuss how the microencapsulation of cosmetic formulations in textiles is set to create a new industry niche - cosmetotextiles. The session will draw attention to technologies that are being developed by cosmetics companies to incorporate active cosmetic formulations into a range of clothing and other textiles to make them more functional offering moisturizing, anti-cellulite, and micro-massaging properties.The 25-minute session will educate conference delegates on thisevolving new industry as Lahmani discusses the intelligent textiles market; the concept of cosmetotextiles; the effectiveness of cosmetotextiles; and future innovations in the area.
