Amyris, a synthetic biotechnology company which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August, has auctioned off four of its consumer brands:
Amyris launched 4U by Tia exclusively at Walmart earlier this year.
In February, Givaudan agreed to acquire certain cosmetic ingredients from Amyris Inc., including Neossance Squalane, the highest performant emollient, Neossance Hemisqualane, the plant-based silicone alternative and CleanScreen, the sustainable sun protector.

- HRB Brands successfully bid $1.75 million for baby care brand Pipette.
- Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories purchased women’s supplements brand Meno Labs for $3 million.
