The weather was chilly but the attendance was hot as beauty industry crowds assembled ‘en masse’ for the dual MakeUp In and Luxe Pack shows held February 16-17 at the LA Convention Center. Beauty Packaging’s Jay Gorga and Jamie Matusow were on the scene, as always, speaking to many throughout the two days to gather viewpoints and report on the pulse of the industry.
 
Exhibitors, speakers and attendees included many who had traveled from around the country and the world, in addition to the predominantly California brand representative attendees.
 
As the case is these days, many brands were researching and looking to resource sustainable packaging solutions and clean formulations—and industry suppliers had much to offer.
