The MakeUp in IT Awards is an international prize awarded by a jury, celebrating the best in cosmetic innovation, formulation, turnkey services, packaging and accessories. The 25 finalist nominees are on display at the MakeUp in LosAngeles show.
The IT Award finalists include MS Beautilab's Supernova Green Injectable Powders and HCT by KDC One's Refillable Serum Dropper customized for Fenty.
More Highlights from the IT Award finalist display:
- Albea's new Creme Topialese tube is 100% PE. It combines a 350 micron PE sleeve with an 'Ecofusion' opening/closing system. It reduces the overall use of fossil plastics by more than 50% compared to standard tubes.
- Ancorotti Cosmetics' 'The Globes,' (shown), are solid face cleansers with gummy textures and playful shapes.
- Chromavis Fareva's Snowglobe (shown), is a lip product in a stick format with a patented rigid structure and liquid core.
- iTiT Cosmetics' Single-dose makeup products are small and travel-friendly.
- Italcosmetici's 'The Way You Make (Up) My Skin' (shown) is a hybrid product that contains micro-encapsulated pigments and actives. It delivers anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti- pollution, and moisturizing properties.
- Lumson's 'XPaper' (shown), is an airless paper packaging innovation that combines a cardboard bottle with a plastic airless pump and PP cap. Multi-layer pouch technology ensures maximum product protection, and the components separate easily for recycling.
- Mana Products' new Skin Barrier Lotion SPF 50 is a 5-in-1 mineral formula that provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection, while soothing breakouts, moisturizing, and plumping skin.
- Virospack's DuoMix 2.0 is a powder dispensing system for two-component products.
Five winners will be chosen during the IT Awards ceremony on Thursday, February 16th at 11:45 am.
