Leading TikTok C-beauty color cosmetics brand, Florasis has appointed Gabby Chen as President of Global Expansion. Florasis is known for blending Eastern makeup with traditional beauty routines and the philosophy of Chinese aesthetics.
Florasis uses leather product packaging with Ulzii patterns and symbols to reflect the brand’s spirit of Mongolian culture.
The brand’s products specialize in botanical and plant-based skincare. It develops formulas with Chinese medical herbs and floral essences to combine skincare and makeup.
“We're ecstatic to have Gabby onboard to steer our global journey,” said Florasis co-founder, Freeman Ren. “We are dedicated to accelerating our efforts, eagerly seeking further support and feedback to enhance our strategy, expanding internationally in the following years, and establishing the brand as a leader in the cosmetics industry.”
Chen holds over 18 years of experience in multiple marketing industries. She previously served as the head of beauty for the Chinese fashion retailer, Lane Crawford Group. She played a key role in introducing the Kendall+Kylie fashion line into the Asia-Pacific market. Chen also founded Mood Editing Cosmetics (ME Cosmetics), which was acquired by NetEase.
As Florasis' global president, Chen will spearhead international growth, focusing on leveraging consumer insights and consumer insights in the hopes of establishing the brand as a leading name in the global beauty market.
Chen commented, “It’s truly an honor to be a part of the team here at Florasis. With a rich history of brand recognition, especially in representing Eastern aesthetics, I look forward to expanding our presence on the global stage.”
Over the next year, Chen hopes to develop a retail presence in the Middle East and Europe, as well as open a flagship store in Japan. Florasis also plans to expand its e-commerce presence by launching on the US TikTok shop to enhance its presence in North America.
