L’Oréal Luxe brand, YSL Beauty has singer-songwriter artist Dua Lipa Global Makeup Ambassador. This builds on their partnership from the Libre franchise Lipa fronted since 2019.
In partnering with Lipa, YSL Beauty hopes to channel her bold self-expression and edgy influence, celebrating culture and individuality.
"Dua Lipa brings an electrifying energy to our brand, inspiring women to not just wear makeup, but to make a statement about who they are and what they stand for. Her influence is a celebration of individuality, a statement of empowerment, encouraging everyone to embrace their unique beauty with confidence," said international general manager of YSL Beauty, Stephan Bezy.
The first part begins on March 15 with the launch of its new YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick and a social media campaign for Candy Glaze. Next, YSL planned to release nude shades in April and according to the brand, a third product is set for later this year.
Shots for the campaign were directed by Nathalie Canguilhen in Morocco, near the YSL Beauty Ourika Community Gardens. The first social media campaign begins this week with connected TV, OOH, paid social and digital.
