Guthy-Renker Invests In Dermaflash

The brand invented at-home dermaplaning.

Dermaflash has announced it has received an equity investment from Guthy-Renker Ventures, the parent of the iconic infomercial producer and beauty product innovator Guthy-Renker LLC.

Dermaflash is known for its revolutionary hand-held exfoliating device inspired by the popular med spa procedure, dermaplaning. Guthy-Renker will create and manage the direct response distribution channel for the beauty tool, which is already sold in high-end retail outlets like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora, Ulta and Macys. Earlier this year on QVC, more than 30,000 units were sold in less than a day.

The two companies will are also partner to launch an infomercial to showcase the best-selling device and its related product family. Dara Levy, CEO/founder, Dermaflash, comments, "I am ecstatic that our partnership will provide the opportunity to get this magic wand into the hands of as many women as possible."
