Wahl Clipper kicked off its campaign today, "Get Buzzed" - and reached out to Kappa Sigma Fraternity and college students from more than four universities around Washington, D.C., asking them to clip their locks to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which helps fight childhood cancers.
During the head shaving event held at the National Mall in our nation's capital, more than 100 college students raised already more than $35,000 for cancer research.
Additional "Get Buzzed" fundraising activities are taking place over the next month at universities across the country. On November 15, New York University's (NYU) Kappa Sigma chapter will host a head-shaving event with several universities in the Greater New York City area coming together to support the cause.
