Men’s Skincare is a category on the rise – and the Estee Lauder Companies is now recognizing it as its own category. The new stand-alone, men’s skincare group consists of Lab Series and Clinique for Men, reports the New York Times blog.
Prior, Lab Series was part of the Aramis and designer fragrance division. Clinique for Men was sold alongside other Clinique products, since it was mainly marketed to women who were buying their own Clinque skincare products.
Lynne Greene, group president of Clinique, Origins, Ojon, Aveda and Darphin, will oversee the new group.
The Estee Lauder Companies is also restructuring its Fragrance division, according to an article by Julie Naughton and Pete Born in Women’s Wear Daily on June 16th.
WWD reports that Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, global brand president of Aramis and Designer Fragrances, BeautyBank and IdeaBank, will be voluntarily stepping down on October 31st, becoming a senior adviser for the company.
John Demsey, a group president of the Estée Lauder Cos., will take over the fragrances and designer brands from Aramis Designer fragrances.
Daniel Annese, currently senior vice president and general manager, Global Market Development, for the Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty brands, has been promoted to global brand president, Aramis and Designer Fragrances – as of Sept. 15.
