Parlux has launched a new fragrance for men by Kenneth Cole, Mankind, which is making its debut at department stores nationwide this month.
Mankind will be partnering with Men's Health magazine to recruit a "regular guy" to be on the cover of the magazine - here's MORE ABOUT THE EVENT. Updated, October 2014: See the WINNER.
The fragrance, a bold aromatic scent, was created by Claude Dir, Perfumer at Givaudan and Parlux Ltd. in collaboration with Kenneth Cole.
The stylish bottle is encased with leather and affixed with chrome bolts, personally selected by Kenneth himself. It conveys a sleek, tailored architectural look.
Kenneth Cole, chairman/CEO, Kenneth Cole Productions, commented:
"The Mankind fragrance and concept is designed for the guy who knows what he wants and expresses it daily through his actions, style and overall essence. This man is performance driven yet understands the importance of achieving balance in his life, whether in his career, relationships or community."
The website, www.mankindfragrance.com, was created to be a social hub, where men are invited to share “random acts of kindness” for 21 days, using real time photos and tweets via #manupformankind. For the early adapters, there is also a Google Glass application to photograph and download their daily good deeds.
