Sustainability is an issue of growing interest to the consuming public. On September 12th, at MakeUp in NewYork, Harry Bennet, adjunct professor Packaging Engineering, Rutgers, gave a keynote presentation entitled, “Packaging Sustainable Development and Circular Economy in Beauty.”
The keynote was followed by a roundtable discussion on how sustainability can be integrated into beauty products and packaging, featuring industry professionals such as Ernel Simpson of Terracycle, Joe Licari of Shiseido Americas and Victor Bell of Environmental Packaging International.
