09.10.19

Experts weigh in on how to develop a ‘clean’ beauty brand.

The Scientific Committee for the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists — and its chair, consultant Giorgio Dell’Acqua — will present and moderate a panel discussion about ‘clean’ beauty at MakeUp in NewYork. Dell’Acqua is a consultant and the organization’s scientific blogger.

The presentation, followed by a Q&A discussion, will take place on Wednesday, September 11th from 2:30 pm through 4 pm.

Speakers will focus on the science behind clean beauty, clean beauty without compromises, how to be socio-responsible, meeting consumers’ expectations, and building a modern skincare brand. The panelists will discuss how to develop clean beauty products that are sustainable, ethically sourced, and transparent — focusing on the supply chain, efficacy, safety, and branding.

The speakers are Noreza Papin, vice president of sales, Expanscience Cosmetic Active Ingredients Division; Toussaint Jordan, senior technical marketing leader, Gattefossé USA;
and Christine Chang, co-founder/co-CEO, Glow Recipe.
