Products and services range from contract manufacturing and packaging to finished goods.

The Cosmoprof North America show, which runs through tomorrow in Las Vegas, is featuring 40 Italian companies -- sharing their products and services with the U.S. beauty industry.

These Italian exhibitors are active in retail products, the professional hair care and cosmetics fields, beauty salon equipment, contract manufacturing and packaging.

In 2018, Italian companies exported over $5.4 billion of beauty products throughout the world; nearly $560 million worth of these exports came to the United States. Reportedly, more than 50% of all the makeup sold in the entire world is manufactured in Italy.

In the U.S. market, some of the best performing categories are makeup (over $187 million), alcohol-based perfume products ($128 million) and hair care (over $104 million).

The exhibiting Italian companies represent "the finest of beauty made in Italy," organizers state.

In addition, Cosmetica Italia – the personal care association that represents the whole Italian cosmetics industry system -- is exhibiting in the Professional Beauty section of the show.
