Ukachi Anonyuo has been appointed Vice President, Global Packaging Innovation Strategy & Portfolio Management, at ELC. She will report directly to Daniel Ramos Day, SVP, Global Packaging, and join the Packaging Leadership Team.
In this expanded role, Anonyuo will lead the end-to-end strategic program and portfolio management initiatives across all functions of the Global Packaging Enterprise including Brand Development, Category Innovation, Channel Innovation, Design/Upstream, Devices, Material Sciences, Engineering, Value Realization and Optimization, and Sustainability. Embedded in Brand Innovation & Development, she will drive the critical path as well as KPIs impacting pipeline, sufficiency, and cost savings initiatives.
Anonyuo sits on various ELC and external Advisory Boards including CIBS and Rutgers University—and has also received several award recognitions over the years
Michelle Freyre has been promoted to global brand president, Cliniquea, at ELC.
Freyre was appointed senior vice president/global general manager, Clinique in June 2020, and according to ELC, “has made a significant impact on Clinique’s brand positioning, driving double digit growth for hero products, as well as redefining the innovation strategy behind Clinique’s hero franchises. She has also driven Clinique’s acceleration in Online to be the No.1 ELC brand in North America in that channel.”
She joined ELC from Johnson & Johnson in 2020, where she had a 20-year career holding various leadership roles within its Consumer Health Products division, most recently serving as president, U.S. Beauty. In 2018, she was named to Fortune’s “50 Most Powerful Latinas in Business.”
Glenn Evans has been promoted to global brand president, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW.
Evans has led both brands as senior vice president/global general manager, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW, and will continue to lead them on a growth path, focusing on product innovations with a consumer-led, online-centric, digital-first approach. Prior to his role at Smashbox, Glenn was senior vice president, Leading Beauty Forward, and SVP, Global Supply Chain.
Since 2018, Evans has served as an executive sponsor of wELCome, ELC’s employee resource group for LGBTQ+ employees, and continues to act as a passionate advocate for inclusion & diversity across the company.
Both Freyre and Evans report directly to John Demsey, executive group president, ELC.
Daniel Mahler has been promoted to EVP, Global Transformation and Category Leadership at ELC. He reports to Fabrizio Freda, president/CEO, and Tracey T. Travis, EVP and CFO.
Mahler has led a broad spectrum of strategic enterprise-wide change priorities at ELC, since joining in 2020.
