Nate Upchurch has been elevated to a new position at Astral Health and Beauty, as Vice President, New Product Development. Today, Astral’s brand portfolio includes Aloette, butter LONDON, COSMEDIX and PUR. The company also has a strategic partnership with LYS Beauty.
A 13-year beauty industry veteran, Upchurch joined the brand incubator and brand builder in 2017 after stints at Tarte, Stila and Mana Products. His initial role of VP, packaging development at Astral, entailed overseeing new product launches for the company’s then three brands—managing sourcing, packaging, project management and purchasing. The role has since expanded to overseeing the entire new product development department and process for all new product launches and existing product changes including Packaging, Formula, Regulatory, Quality, Vendor Management and Corporate Strategic Productivity Initiatives.
