Brian Saputo has been appointed executive vice president at SeaCliff Beauty Packaging. Saputo has over 25 years of experience in packaging development and engineering, with a specialized focus in the personal care and beauty space. He began his career innovating packaging for Sebastian Professional and Wella, based in Los Angeles. After an acquisition of those companies by Procter & Gamble, Saputo moved to Geneva, Switzerland, and continued to lead packaging design and development for the professional hair division. In 2007, he relocated with P&G to Cincinnati, OH, and was responsible for Gillette packaging development, and also led the aerosol capability group for the company.
In 2015, Saputo joined Rodan & Fields to help build a new packaging development organization. He hired and developed a team of eight engineers responsible for establishing test methods, lab and prototyping capabilities.
At SeaCliff Beauty, Saputo has responsibility for business development including strategy, marketing, human resources, technology and the development of a new packaging lab and engineering team. Saputo is a Michigan State University alumnus, where he earned his MS in Packaging Engineering.
