Coty Inc. has announced the appointment of Pascal Baltussen as global chief procurement officer and a member of Coty’s executive committee. He will report to Pierre Laubies, CEO, and will be based in Amsterdam. This follows the appointment of Richard Jones as global chief supply officer in November 2019.
In his new role, Baltussen will lead Coty’s procurement team with a strong focus on reducing complexity and costs in order “to unlock opportunities for reinvestment and profit expansion.” According to Coty, this supports their “transformation towards a better and healthier business.”
Baltussen brings with him a wealth of senior global procurement experience, having spent the last nine years with Mars, where he progressed through the procurement organization to his current role as global vice president, procurement and sustainability, at Mars Wrigley. Prior to that, he spent nine years at AB InBev.
