There was a time when caring about the products you use on your body and taking care of yourself was considered “just for women,” but attitudes are changing.

Men around the world are purchasing and using skincare products and even makeup, and the packaging is just as inspired as the products.

In fact, skincare has become a core product category for men. Emma Fishwick, senior accounts manager at market research firm NPD, even claims that men’s skincare is growing faster than the women's category.

According to Global Industry Analysts Inc., the global market for Men's Skincare Products estimated at $12 billion in the year 2020, is projected to reach a revised size of $16.3 Billion by 2026, growing at a CAGR of 5.1% over the analysis period.

Furthermore, Elle Morris, Senior Global Strategy Consultant for Marks, says that the growth horizon for the Male Personal Care category in 2022 couldn’t be rosier. According to Grand View Research, the Men’s Personal Care category is forecasted to be a $166 billion market with a 6% annual growth rate predicted through 2027.
