Beauty Brands Take a Stand & Join the Fight for Racial Equality in America

How beauty brands are promoting racial equality on social media as news feeds go black in solidarity.

As Americans protest against racial injustice since the tragic death of George Floyd, beauty brands are joining the online movement and showing support by sharing posts on social media with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.   

Many are also taking part in #BlackoutTuesday online on June 2 - with posts about racial equality flooding social news feeds. A few are featured in the slideshow above.

Beauty brands are also spreading the word about donations they have made to various organizations, including the NAACP and Black Lives Matter. Some are finding clever ways to illustrate diversity and inclusion with graphics featuring various shades of foundation makeup.
