Makeup applicators, including all types of brushes and sponges, are more in demand than ever. Conference sessions on both Wednesday and Thursday will include speakers presenting the latest developments in applicator technology.
Gerald Martines, founder of the consultant firm In-Signes, will present “The Cosmetic Applicators” on Wednesday, 12 - 12:30. The session will provide an overall view of basic applicator technologies, including brushes, spatulas, flocked tips, balls and more. Tips on combining various types of applicators for a specific product formulation will be discussed.
“The Cosmetic Applicators, Part Two” is a workshop that will take place on Thursday, 2:30 - 4 pm. The session includes information about mascara brushes, presented by Geka’s Arnaud Brilland, Albéa North America’s Avit Ghibaudo, and Brivaplast’s Christine Dupuy. Applicators for tubes and airless packaging will be presented by Cosmogen’s Lynda Pare; and the latest developments in makeup brushes will be presented by FS Korea’s Patrick Ng, Pennelli Faro’s Sara Zanafredi, and Taiki’s Jan Wilson.
